I was born November 24, 1994 in West Tisbury, Martha's Vineyard. My mother
was Labrador Retriever and my father was Irish Setter. When I was seven months
old, I was given up for adoption (why; I don't know) and that's when I was
adopted from the MSPCA in Edgartown, by my Dad, Christian Soulagnet (he's
French and human). 
About a year after I was adopted, my Dad and I moved into the apartment above
our store. One morning my Dad went to work and I walked out onto the roof
to watch him leave me, and we heard a boy from across the road yell, "Hey,
look at The Roof Dog over there!!". Well, the name stuck, and on account
of me, the name of the store was changed to Up On The Roof.
It
was during the winter after my first summer as "The Roof Dog" that
my Dad met and fell in love with his bride-to-be, who was to become my new
Mom. Boy, is she great! During the off-season, I love taking long walks on
the beach with Mom and Dad. Mom also keeps me in style by changing my bandana
often.
